Topics in History for Teachers seeks to integrate historical theory and “best-practices” with practical historical knowledge and curricular development.   Course will introduce teachers to historical resources, discuss history pedagogy, and work to integrate current historical scholarship into intermediate and secondary school history curricula.

History 290 – History Internship
Supervised work experience in a history related field.  The Internship relates student’s classroom studies to occupational and professional experiences.  In cooperation with their internship coordinator, students will choose a field work experience from among the following options (other options may be possible):  Fresno Historical Society, National History Day, History Project at Fresno State, Work in local schools,  Research projects with CSU Fresno Professors, Museum Work , Local Archives/Collections, Grant Writing.
